While there is a higher demand for Spanish-speaking nurses near the U.S.-Mexico border, hospitals and doctors' offices across the country are seeing higher numbers of Hispanic patients come through their doors. This has led to a higher-than-ever influx of nurses who are challenging themselves to become fluent in Spanish.
For a nurse, communicating with patients is a huge part of the job description. To be able to comfort patients and provide the best for their well-being, nurses must be able to have clear conversations with patients.
